The question plagues us daily as we see corruption and incompetence moving America in the wrong direction. With so many assaults on our liberties and freedom we feel powerless to regain control and reverse the flow. There is no easy answer to the difficulties that we face. We must take action. The first step is to...

Join North Georgia 9-12 at our monthly "Candidate Series" meetings. We are working to get as many candidates to speak and let us know where they stand on the issues so that YOU can make an informed decision. Be leary of groups and people that tell you who you should vote for. We are not sheeple. We feel that our members should make their own choices on who to vote for.

Restoring Honor Rally Join North Georgia 9-12 for Glenn Beck's Restoring Honor Rally 8/28 at the Lincoln memorial in Washington DC.

North Georgia 9-12 Rapid Fire BBQ. July 10th We have over 20 confirmed candidates to speak at our BBQ. This will be the event of the primary season. We need volunteers please email bbq@northgeorgia912.com or volunteer on the messag boards.

Retain the E-Verify amendments in the Homeland Security spending bill. Tell Pres. Obama, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reed to keep the proposed amendments.
Sign the Numbersusa.com petition to save new Senate rules that protect U.S. jobs for returning veterans and other unemployed Americans, NOT illegal aliens.

*The Sessions amendment, which would permanently reauthorize E-Verify and mandate its use by all government contractors and subcontractors;
*The DeMint amendment, which would force DHS to complete the 700 miles of border fencing which has already been approved and funded;
*The Vitter amendment, which would force the Social Security Administration to continue their "No-Match" program (DHS Sec. Napolitano announced the termination of this program); and
*The Grassley amendment, which would allow employers that use E-Verify to run all of their current employees through the system, not just new hires.

Stop the Cap and Tax Legislation: Contact your Senators and tell them to VOTE NO! on "Cap and Trade" legislation when it gets to the Senate. Failure to stop this legistlation will result in higher energy costs due to artifical caps placed on suppliers. Please be sure to read the RSC report on the Cap and Tax legislation. See our main page for contact info for Senate Moderates call and fax them all week about this issue.

Our elected officials are not reading the legislation before they vote. They are adding in pages of legislation in the 11th hour (300 pages added to HR2454 in the morning hours before it went up for vote). Not too long ago they hired a speed-reader to read a bill aloud, making a mockery of our political process. Enough is Enough!! The American people must put these Represenatives on notice go to ReadTheDamnBill.com and sign their petition.

Attend a 9-12 meeting: NorthGeorgia912 chapters are hosting regularly scheduled meetings in Alpharetta, Conyers, Flowery Branch & Marietta and more.
We are working to coordinate with like-minded groups in Georgia. Please join us and work with us to further our goals. Check the calendar for info on the next meeting near you. If you know of a group or want help getting one started in your area let us know.
Check our Contacts for the group near you.

Go to a Tea Party:
There are TEA (Taxed Enough Already) Parties, going on all over Georgia check our Event Calendar & Message Boards for the latest info.

Contact Your Representatives: Our elected officials want to hear from us. Contrary to popular belief, your opinion matters. It is your duty as an American Citizen to tell them what you think. They might even take it into consideration when they vote on your behalf. Use the following links for contact information for the Senate the House of Representatives and the President.

Network: Talk to your friends and neighbors and discuss the issues. Attend local political meetings. Tea Parties, rallys and protests. Visit politically oriented websites and post on the forums. Speak your mind, listen to the opinions of others and get organized. Teach and learn from others. Education is the key.

Support Local Small Businesses: Small business is the key to the economy. Over 50% of Americans are employed by a small business. In these unstable economic times, they are the ones being hit the hardest. Instead of purchasing items at a large chain try to see if there is a small business in your area that can provide the same goods or services. Even if you pay a slightly higher price, the quality or craftsmanship will usually be better, and your purchase may save someone's job!
If you own (or know of) a small business in Georgia that supports and upholds the 9-12 values please give it a plug on our boards.
