| The
9 Principles and 12 Values |
|
The 9 Principles and 12 Values
are a consolidated version of the original 28 Major Principles
upon which our nation was founded. These were not just words.
Our founding fathers held these core beliefs and lived these
principles on a daily basis.* They are
the framework on which our nation was built.
Even the founders did not agree on everything. There were
many heated debates on principles and the structure of our
nation. It is safe to say, that if you believe in at least
7 of the 9 Principles you are one of us.

Principles
|
- America is good.
- I believe in God/the Creator and he is the center
of my life.
- I must always try to be a more honest person than
I was yesterday.
- The family is sacred. My spouse and I are the ultimate
authority, not the government.
- If you break the law you pay the penalty. Justice
is blind and no one is above it.
- I have a right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness,
but there is no guarantee of equal results.
- I work hard for what I have and I will share it
with who I want to. Government cannot force me to
be charitable.
- It is not un-American for me to disagree with authority
or to share my personal opinion.
- The government works for me. I do not answer to
them, they answer to me

*Washington and
Franklin in particular were very hard on themselves.
Individually they would pick a principle to work on
each day then at the end of the night they would critique
themselves on how they performed and what they could
improve upon. (For more information on the 28 Major
Principles and our nations founding, read 'The 5,000
Year Leap' - W. Cleon Skousen)
