Thank you for braving the cold, wind & rain to come to downtown Atlanta for Operation: "Can You Hear Us Now?" Approximately 800 people from 15 organizations joined the Alpharetta Chapter of North Georgia 9-12 to protest the complicit and biased media armed with signs, megaphones, and motorcycles!
The Sons of Liberty lead the protest with their bikes rumbling through the streets of Atlanta, getting the attention of everyone around. And, there were lots of folks downtown to see us on Saturday between 3 Disney on Ice shows and a Juvenile Diabetes Walk. Our march stretched from CNN Center to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution - 6 blocks long - all the while chanting "Can You Hear Us Now?" and "Tell The Truth!". You could hear us chanting inside CNN Center. We waved at CNN employees who peered out from behind curtains to see us from 8 stories up! The AJC was a ghost town which is probably why they reported only 200 protesters. We went through the route four times - we made our point!
To our Volunteers - - we couldn't have done it without you! From providing the PA system, lining the streets to ensure protestor safety, pinning on the runner tags, and all the organizers, you all did a stellar job and always with a smile on your face. You made the event a success.
Special thanks to Don Hodges for the invocation, Claire Hodges for her beautiful rendition of the national anthem, and young Alex for leading us in the pledge of allegiance. Thanks to Denny Schaffer from WGKA (dennyradio.com) for stepping in at the last minute to MC our event and intro our speakers including Joel Aaron (teapartymovie.com) and Matt Perdie (perdie.com) who is walking across the country as his stand against big government and its expansion of power.
For all you who made the drive from throughout Georgia, Alabama, Florida, Kentucky, North Carolina and Ohio - you are true patriots.
Jefferson wrote, "All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent." We proclaimed the truth - - loudly. Our children and grandchildren will be better served as each of us continue to fight for our freedom going forth at high volume.

There are other events happening that day: the Juvenile Diabetes
Charity Walk at Centennial Olympic Park, the GA Tech Game and three
Disney On Ice shows at Philips Arena throughout the day. There
are a number of vehicle caravan's from various locations all converging
at CNN Center.
