Edward Bellamy (1850 – 1898) was an American author and socialist, most famous for his utopian novel, Looking Backward, set in the year 2000. This is an important book to read, not that we advocate of anything that Bellamy believed but, that you can get a more clear understanding of liberal thinking when understanding the fantasy world that they inhabit.
